Share questions and feedback with Rice’s Reproductive Health Working Group

Dear faculty, staff and students:

Last week, President DesRoches announced the formation of a Reproductive Health Working Group. Due to the changing landscape around abortion services, the task force was charged to “begin by understanding the new legal and health care environment to address the questions that have arisen in our community, to provide guidance to leadership on how these changes affect the broader educational and research mission at Rice, and to determine how to best support our community in their reproductive health choices.”

As a starting point, the working group would like to hear from you.  If you have any questions about the recent Supreme Court ruling as it relates to our community, or if you have other feedback to share as we begin our work, you can contact us using this form.

Please note: You must be logged into your Rice Gmail to submit a question. You will not be able to access the submission form using a personal email account. If you are having difficulty accessing the form, please contact RHWG@rice.edu.

One of the first tasks of the working group will be to consider the input we have already received, as well as the comments and questions that will come in through this form. Once we have gathered the input, we will be organizing our activities and next steps, and we will communicate to the Rice community about this work in as timely a manner as possible. Looking forward, we expect these efforts to include contributions from various students, faculty and staff throughout our community, allowing us to reach a broader set of constituents and build a strategic plan.

We look forward to receiving your submission.

Sincerely,

The Reproductive Health Working Group
